We are seeking a mid to senior level Microsoft Power Platform Developer to design, build, and enhance solutions leveraging the full Microsoft Power Platform suite-Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI-as well as Dataverse and SharePoint. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation and hands-on experience delivering complex business applications. They will work closely with a Business Analyst to determine level of effort associated with backlog items and identify sprint backlog content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Power Platform development
  • Candidate must possess a Microsoft PL-400 (Power Platform developer certification)
  • Expertise in Power Apps and demonstrated experience with the Power FX language and UI/UX experience
  • Extensive experience in the development of Power Automate / Flow with experience in creating JSON and OData queries
  • Expertise with the development of Power BI reports including experience writing Power Query M code queries, Dax functions, building data models and report development
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audience
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Power Apps canvas and model-driven apps.
  • Create complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Implement chatbots and virtual agents using Power Virtual Agents.
  • Utilize Dataverse for secure, scalable data storage and modeling, ensuring effective use of relationships, business rules, and security roles.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for Power Platform development.
  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Actively participate in the Microsoft CoE, sharing knowledge, best practices, and ensuring adherence to governance and standards.
  • Review existing Power Apps, Flows and Power BI reports in the environment and make improvements, bug fixes and feature requests with minimal oversight and limited disruption to in-production services.
