About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a Power Platform Analyst. This role involves supporting various ongoing projects and ensuring the smooth operation of command initiatives, business processes, financial studies, and knowledge management activities. The role supports a government agency’s CFO organization in a DoD joint command, utilizing client metrics to evaluate and present financial data to senior leadership, developing and implementing custom solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate platforms, and utilizing automated management/financial information systems for analytical, budget, and advisory functions. The analyst will actively participate in client discussions and meetings, produce various documents and plans, and may act as a budget consultant on larger projects, driving the design and implementation of data visualization tools and low-code solutions to improve budget development and management.

Requirements

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR FOUR (4) years’ experience related to Budget Analysis, Financial Management, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management, Project/ Program Management, Software Development and/or Information Technology
  • THREE (3) years’ experience related to Budget Analysis, Financial Management, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management, Project/ Program Management, Software Development, Power Platforms and/ or Information Technology

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Experience using PowerApps, Power Automate, or PowerBI as a Financial Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with HTML, coding or software development experience
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly.
  • Experience working in a military or financial environment
  • Experience supporting federal client consultant is plus

Responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing command initiatives and improving business processes
  • Conducting financial studies and analyses and maintaining and updating knowledge management systems.
  • Providing daily support for task management and tracking
  • Maintaining and updating SharePoint sites, preparing and distributing regular reports
  • Managing permissions and access for users, supporting onboarding and out-processing activities, and developing and maintaining calendars and schedules.
  • Support driving design and implementation of data visualization tools within Power Apps and implement low-code concepts to drive efficient solutions across cross-functional teams.
