As a Power Platform engineer, you will drive the sustainment of Microsoft 365 and Azure services to the cloud through the operations and maintenance of Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse. This role involves developing cloud-based solutions to improve warfighter communication and help the USAF realize the most from their cloud technologies. You will work with clients to inform strategy and design, ensuring standards are met while recommending tools and capabilities based on your research. Your expertise will be vital in overcoming challenges related to adopting and delivering cloud services, and you will share your skills in automation and cloud-based security with your team and clients. This position offers an opportunity to sharpen your expertise in cloud-based security and Azure technology while developing critical systems for the DoD.

  • Operate, maintain, and administer Power Platform for large organizations.
  • Develop architecture and solutions for Microsoft 365 and Power Platform, including Dataverse, Power Apps, Power BI, or Power Automate.
  • Lead migration of legacy solutions to Power Apps.
  • Operate and maintain SharePoint Online with large organizations.
  • Inform strategy and design for cloud services, ensuring standards are met.
  • Recommend tools and capabilities based on research of the current environment.
  • Share skills in automation and cloud-based security with team and clients.
  • Develop critical solutions for the DoD.
  • 2+ years of experience operating, maintaining, and administering Power Platform for large organizations.
  • Experience developing architecture and solutions for Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
  • Experience operating and maintaining SharePoint Online with large organizations.
  • Experience leading migration of legacy solutions to Power Apps.
  • Knowledge of DoD network structure and concepts.
  • Knowledge of automated solutions using Power Automate.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ Certification.
  • 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft SharePoint for a large organization of 100,000+ people.
  • Knowledge of the USAF network.
  • Knowledge of AFNET change management and incident management processes.
  • Knowledge of USAF and cloud interconnectivity.
  • Knowledge of scripting solutions in PowerShell.
  • Ability to develop SPO solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, REST, JSON, or XML.
