The only thing missing is you! Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to operation, repair and maintenance of all equipment related to the Power Plant and Laundry operations. Boilers, pumps, hot water heaters, condensate systems, cooling towers, emergency generators, water softeners, commercial washers, dryers and folders are among the multitude of equipment this position is responsible for. Responsible for training on power plant equipment operations on a scheduled basis. As well as provides training for in house and outside personnel, as approved, for boiler licensing requirements. Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health system organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three to six (3-6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3rd Class Boilers License required
  • Twelve (12) months experience operating and maintaining a comparable plant
  • Twelve (12) months experience operating and maintaining commercial laundry equipment

Responsibilities

  • Operation, repair and maintenance of all equipment related to the Power Plant and Laundry operations.
