About The Position

As a Power Plant Operator, you will operate, maintain, repair, and install all utility systems such as heating, ventilation, electricity, water, air conditioning, refrigeration, and provide security functions throughout the building and grounds to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all patients, staff, and visitors. You will also schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all utility systems, maintain high standards and appearance of physical plant and mechanical rooms, and act as a resource person and fill in on-call in the supervisor's absence.

Requirements

• Vocational/Technical School graduate or in lieu of, High School Diploma/GED.
• 3-5 years of Power Plant, HVAC or maintenance related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, repair and install all utility systems such as heating, ventilation, electricity, water, air conditioning, refrigeration.
• Provide security functions throughout the building and grounds.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all utility systems.
• Maintain high standards and appearance of physical plant and mechanical rooms.
• Act as resource person and fill in on-call in supervisor's absence.
