About The Position

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The Facilities Services Department provides security, telecommunications, housekeeping, maintenance and engineering services for the campus. Responsibilities

  • Assigns work to power plant operators.
  • Operates, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains all physical plant equipment in compliance with all department procedures, policies, and all applicable compliance and federal, state and local regulations.
  • Repairs, maintains, tests, operates, and documents fire alarm system and fire protection water systems in accordance with regulations.
  • Monitors elevators and determines if service is to be dispatched. Repairs and maintains all pumps, refrigeration equipment and controls.
  • Completes all safety documentation and logs.
