A Brief Overview The Power Plant Director oversees the 24/7 operation of the Doyon Utilities Central Heat and Power Plant (CHPP) including workforce management, safety, and compliance. This role ensures the safe, efficient operations and maintenance of the 22 MW coal-fired cogeneration facility in full compliance with Doyon Utilities, State of Alaska and federal environmental and safety regulations. This role relies on the Plant Engineer for technical expertise and engineering advisory support to inform operational decision-making.
