About The Position
The Ørsted US Internship Program is designed to help you put your energy into what matters. Join us in this role where you'll work on cutting-edge projects in the power markets, leveraging data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize grid operations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in congestion management, market analysis, and renewable integration. Welcome to the Transmission Team, where you'll be part of the Power Market Analysis Team, assisting in the analysis of electricity market data, including historical and forecasted congestion and curtailment. You will support the collection, cleaning, and processing of large data sets for nodal models, working collaboratively with engineers, analysts, and data scientists to assist with data manipulation utilizing Python, SQL, VBA, and other programming languages as necessary. You will develop market price heatmaps, dashboards, and reports, sharing your insights through technical reports and presentations. As a team, we are driven by innovation and collaboration, passionate about improving grid operations and market efficiency using advanced tools and methodologies.
