About The Position

This individual possesses the solid engineering fundamentals and understanding with some supervision in the application of ASIC knowledge to assist and support the defining, modeling, designing (digital and/or analog), optimizing, verifying, validating, implementing, and documenting of IP (block/SoC) development for a variety of high performance, high quality, low power products. Focuses on verifying RTL logic design verification by analyzing integrated circuit system requirements and verifying adherence to the specification by developing a custom mixed-language object-oriented testbench using the SystemVerilog UVM framework. The testbench exercises the intended design feature set to validate the design block or integrated circuit behavior against the requirements. Collaborates with team members to assist in the development of an implementation strategy that meets system requirements and customer needs. Utilizes industry standard and internal tools, to validate integrated circuit behavior, which also includes analyzing and debugging RTL code, to prove RTL design is sufficient to go to the manufacturing step. Writes technical documentation for Qualcomm's Power Management IC projects. Participates in design reviews and project meetings.
