Power Machine Operator I-1st shift
About The Position
ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY The Machine Operator is responsible to complete a variety of maintenance, development and operations tasks that promote the efficient production of MSI Express Inc. Their duties and responsibilities often include: Monitoring and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required The operator is responsible to understand all quality specifications associated with the machinery and operate the machinery or equipment in compliance with those standards The operator is responsible to operate the machinery or equipment at speeds sufficient to accomplish the production efficiency goals set by the supervisor The operator is responsible to recognize when the equipment is malfunctioning or operating at substandard speeds and immediately inform the supervisor The operator is responsible to ensure that all raw materials required to operate the machinery or equipment are of the specified part number prior to being installed on the equipment The operator is required to perform basic maintenance on the machinery or equipment to which they are assigned The operator is required to assist in the cleanup and / or the setup of the line by stocking, reworking, troubleshooting and any other duties that will be required to keep the line functioning Follow all company policies including but not limited to general manufacturing and safety practices This position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence. The associate in this job has the responsibility to report, in a timely manner, Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action on those problems Perform any other duties as instructed by management

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
- Have appropriate eye, hand and foot coordination to properly execute position
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to identify different written forms, box labels and bottle codes
- Ability to operate computer equipment for the line operation
- Must wear personal protective equipment as required within your facility in the appropriate designated areas
- Must require compliance with OSHA regulations or MSDS standards
Responsibilities
