Job Description: The Role: A successful candidate will work with the team to develop and deploy methodology and infrastructure to measure and analyze SiFive IP power consumption.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science / Computer Architecture
  • 3+ years of experience in power benchmarking, analysis and modeling
  • Experience with power impacts at architecture, logic design, and circuit levels.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture of high performance out-of-order CPU designs.
  • Experience with ASIC power analysis and optimization.
  • Hands-on expertise with either HW development (RTL/implementation flows, verification/validation, backend flows, FPGA flows) or SW development is a strong plus.
  • Competency in software engineering best practices needed to maintain and refactor very large object oriented code bases.
  • Self-starter, fast learner, strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy power analysis flows, models to collect and analyze power consumption
  • Correlate power models with RTL and Silicon
  • Develop and deploy power measurement infrastructure
  • Develop power models for architecture exploration and development
