AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Power & Industrial Structural Engineer to join our Power & Industrial Power Delivery Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Bothell, WA. AtkinsRéalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization. For over 50 years, we've partnered with public and private clients across the U.S. to deliver infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, urban planning, architecture, and program management. Our depth and breadth of expertise enables us to tackle the most technically complex and time-sensitive projects—driving innovation, resilience, and real-world impact where it matters most.

  • Design and develop plans and drawings, which may include the development of preliminary layout and/or final drawings.
  • Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions.
  • Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
  • Assist engineers with Structures plan production tasks.
  • Develop engineering calculations under the supervision of senior structural engineers.
  • Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related technical field.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited college/university.
  • Math skills to perform calculations; willingness to learn.
  • Candidate must have a valid US driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and FEM software (strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrates initiative and collaborates effectively across teams.
  • Capable of working independently while actively contributing to team goals.
  • E.I. or E.I.T. or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire (strongly preferred).
