Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program for Fall of 2025 in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability & Energy, or related degrees.
  • Minimum GPA: 2.8 Cumulative AND 3.0 Major.
  • A track record of outstanding academic performance.
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work on specific projects designed to gain real-world, hands-on experience under an assigned supervisor and technical mentor.
  • Investigate corrosion sources in water systems.
  • Explore innovative options to repair water piping.
  • Implement design changes of liquid level instruments in pressure vessels.
  • Conduct safety valve maintenance and inspection analysis.
  • Install wireless amp current meters.
  • Participate in the aqueous copper removal pilot project.
