Power Engineer (Multiple Openings) Responsibilities: The Power Engineer will develop and maintain strong working knowledge and technical expertise in SEL’s electrical power system equipment types and related protection, monitoring, and control issues. The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical engineering and: (1) undertake technical and market analysis in connection with the evaluation of proposed products or enhancements; (2) gather and maintain data on competing products in assigned product areas; (3) draft and maintain application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets as appropriate; (4) develop and analyze product specifications and functional tests; and (5) undertake improvements of SEL research and development initiatives.
