About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Power Electronics Test Engineer Intern to support testing and characterization of power semiconductor devices (SiC/GaN). This role combines lab work, data analysis, and basic test automation, offering practical experience in power electronics and semiconductor testing.

Requirements

• Basic electronics knowledge (circuits, components, and testing procedures).
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, power meters).
• Hands-on experience with soldering and basic lab tools .
• Programming experience in Python, C++, Java, or similar
• Ability to read schematics and follow structured test procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read schematics and follow test procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for data analysis and documentation.
• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field (Must not have graduated before September 2026)

Responsibilities

• Follow lab safety procedures when working with high-voltage devices
• Perform and document electrical testing of power devices
• Set up, operate, and debug lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators)
• Assemble and maintain test fixtures
• Collect and analyze test data for engineering reports
• Support basic test automation using Python or similar tools
