Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in power electronics product development
  • Hands-on experience of schematic capture and circuit simulation & analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience of PCB layout for better signal integrity and manufacturability
  • Hands-on experience with high voltage power electronics testing and validation.
  • Familiar with IGBT, MOSFET etc. devices and power modules

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EMI troubleshooting
  • Familiar with three phase inverters and motor control
  • Experience with safety-critical automotive hardware development
  • Familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power electronics products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop traction inverters for electric vehicle applications.
  • Design, bring-up, characterize and troubleshoot traction inverters.
  • Design and validate circuit schematics and PCB layout.
  • Perform complex circuit design analysis, thermal analysis, and control analysis.
  • Perform failure analysis.
  • Support design validation and end-of-line tests specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical design, software, system, project management, supply chain functions throughout the organization.
