ASRC Federal's Summer Technology Readiness Intern Development Experience (STRIDE) offers undergraduate college students the chance to apply their technological interests and knowledge to exciting real-world missions. We are seeking a Power BI Intern to support our government customer Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Services Administrative and Program Support Services (DHS FPS) located in Washington, DC. This role is a temporary, hybrid position. Work location: Hybrid (onsite 2 days a week); intern can sit at Bren Mar, VA or 1201 M Street, Washington DC. Local intern candidates preferred. Relocation assistance, housing, or stipends are not provided. Security: Must be a US Citizen to successful complete a government issued background investigation (must have lived continuously in the continental United States for the past three years). Program dates: 10-week summer internship, June 1 - August 6, 2026 Hours: 32 hours per week Summary: This internship will assist the Data Analysis team in building and maintaining DHS FPS budgetary and PSO dashboards using Power BI. This role focuses on data preparation, dashboard updates, and supporting financial/operational reporting. Education: Currently enrolled in a Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related degree program from an accredited college/university. Must be a junior, senior or graduate student in college at the time of application submittal. Interns will work closely with dedicated mentors and managers, fostering meaningful connections within our company while exploring a range of technology disciplines. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to contribute to research projects developed by our tech experts. While extensive work experience is not required, a commitment to learning and a genuine passion for emerging technological advancements are essential.
