About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Power BI Developer – Integrated Scheduling & Program Analytics to support our Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD location. The Power BI Developer – Integrated Scheduling & Program Analytics will support the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formation (HMIF) Program Office by developing and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and visual analytics that provide real-time insight into program performance, schedule health, resource utilization, and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with Integrated Master Schedulers, project managers, and senior government stakeholders to transform complex scheduling and execution data into actionable decision-support tools. The ideal candidate will leverage Power BI expertise to enhance transparency, identify risks, and enable successful program execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Power BI development, data visualization, program analytics, scheduling support, or related roles.
  • Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards and interactive reports for program or project performance tracking.
  • Experience working with project scheduling data and tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and scheduling data into clear, actionable visual insights.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience briefing senior government stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Must have a current driver’s license.
  • Travel: Up to 5%.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to maintain this clearance during employment. TS/SCI preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize program schedules, milestones, dependencies, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Integrate data from scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent) to provide real-time insights into schedule performance and forecasted outcomes.
  • Develop interactive visualizations to track critical path, milestone completion, schedule variance, and delivery forecasts.
  • Analyze program and schedule data to identify risks, delays, resource constraints, and performance trends, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Master Schedulers, project managers, and team leads to ensure dashboards accurately reflect program priorities and execution status.
  • Support resource allocation analysis through Power BI reporting, highlighting capacity, utilization, and constraint areas.
  • Produce executive-level briefings and visual reports for senior government stakeholders, ensuring clarity and data-driven decision support.
  • Automate recurring reports and dashboards to reduce manual reporting efforts and improve data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Facilitate schedule and performance review meetings using Power BI dashboards to support alignment and corrective action planning.
  • Implement Power BI governance, including workspace organization, user access, and permissions to protect sensitive program data.
  • Provide training and user support on Power BI tools, dashboards, and data interpretation.
  • Maintain documentation related to dashboards, data sources, metrics definitions, and reporting standards.
  • Evaluate data visualization practices and recommend improvements to enhance reporting effectiveness and efficiency.

  • In compliance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is ~$79,000 - $150,000; however, PeopleTec considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and critical skills.
