Praescient Analytics is seeking a Power BI Developer / Visualization Specialist to help support the design, development, and implementation of the American Battle Monuments Agency (ABMC) business intelligence dashboards. This role translates complex operational requirements into intuitive, user-friendly visual interfaces—collectively known as the ABMC Cemetery Status Information System (ACSIS)—to provide real-time, actionable insights into the management of 26 cemeteries and 31 monuments worldwide. Requirements

  • At least 5 years of extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI and the broader Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint and Excel.
  • Proven ability to translate disaggregated data into cohesive, visual, and actionable reporting formats.
  • Experience developing objective, measurable metrics and "green/amber/red" assessment logic for functional resource areas.
  • Understanding of U.S. federal government computing standards and experience implementing BI solutions for complex organizations.
  • Ability to conduct live training sessions and facilitate workshops with diverse staff elements.
  • U.S. Citizenship is Required
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom BI dashboards that provide an integrated, enterprise-level view of Agency resources.
  • Create "Site Dashboards" for each of the 26 cemeteries and "Functional Dashboards" for stakeholders to monitor specific areas like Horticulture, Engineering, and Security across all sites.
  • Implement dashboards capable of displaying data based on the user's role, such as regional views for geographic managers or facility-specific views for functional experts.
  • Configure interactive elements that allow users to "drill down" into summary assessments to see underlying data factors, such as specific drivers behind a chapel's rating.
  • Facilitate review sessions with Agency leadership and functional stakeholders to gather feedback and iteratively refine dashboard designs.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and user guides to ensure Agency personnel can maintain, update, and customize dashboards after project completion.
  • Work with the Data Engineer to connect dashboards to structured datasets while ensuring performance is optimized for the Agency’s Microsoft-based suite.
