About The Position

Link Solutions is seeking a Power BI Developer (Associate-Level) to join our team at Fort Stewart, GA. Must be a US Citizen. DoD Clearance required (Active or Interim). Non-remote (relocation incentive available). The Power BI Developer (Associate-Level) will assist in the creation and maintenance of visual reports and dashboards supporting various Army operational units. This entry-level role will work under the direction of senior analysts to transform data into meaningful insights, support system integrations, and gain exposure to end-user interactions and report delivery workflows. Requirements

  • US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CISSP, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
  • One (1+) year of experience developing reports using Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Familiar with DAX, Power Query (M), and complex data modeling.
  • Familiar with Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate, and SharePoint tools.
  • Familiar with Azure Synapse, Vantage, and Advana platforms.
  • Microsoft PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Security Clearance.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.
  • Microsoft PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
  • Data Modeling: Star/Snowflake schemas, normalized structures.
  • UX/UI: Advanced visualization design and interactivity.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
  • A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building Power BI dashboards using provided data models and source connections.
  • Develop and refine visualizations using DAX and Power Query (M).
  • Work with Excel/CSV and SharePoint files to prepare data for ingestion.
  • Maintain and update dashboards with current data according to defined schedules.
  • Participate in stakeholder feedback sessions and incorporate usability improvements.
  • Document visualizations, data sources, and refresh processes for reuse.
