About The Position

Overview We are seeking a forward-thinking Power BI / Data Scientist to lead the development of our next-generation data ecosystem. This role bridges traditional business intelligence with advanced AI capabilities by leveraging Microsoft Fabric to curate enterprise data, build complex Power BI reporting, and develop AI-driven data experiences. A key focus of this role is preparing data for natural language interaction , including building and refining Linguistic Schemas and AI-ready semantic models that enable intuitive, high-value business insights. What You'll Do Power BI & Reporting Design, develop, and maintain high-impact Power BI dashboards and interactive reports Leverage advanced DAX and Power Query to deliver performant, business-aligned analytics Data Curation & Fabric Engineering Curate, transform, and model raw data into high-quality, reporting-ready datasets Utilize Microsoft Fabric OneLake to ensure data integrity, scalability, and optimized retrieval AI Agent Development Build and configure Fabric Data Agents that enable natural language (Q&A) interaction with enterprise data Partner with stakeholders to align AI capabilities with real business use cases Linguistic Schema & AI Readiness Prepare data for AI consumption by building and importing Linguistic Schemas Enhance natural language understanding and usability across AI-driven experiences Model Optimization Refine semantic models with AI-specific instructions, example queries, and synonym mapping Improve the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of generative AI outputs What You Bring 8–10+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or reporting solutions with a strong delivery track record Deep experience with Power BI , data modeling, and enterprise reporting Hands-on experience with or strong interest in Microsoft Fabric , AI-enabled analytics, and semantic modeling Practical understanding of IT infrastructure , software development lifecycles, and cloud operations Strong communication and business-alignment skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders What Success Looks Like First 90 Days Build strong relationships with teammates and business stakeholders Learn existing data, applications, systems, processes, and infrastructure 6 Months Own delivery of core systems and reporting solutions Ship initial AI-driven data and analytics capabilities 12 Months Earn strong trust from business users Deliver measurable impact through AI, data curation, and advanced reporting Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 a year depending on experience and qualifications. Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or reporting solutions with a strong delivery track record
  • Deep experience with Power BI , data modeling, and enterprise reporting
