About The Position

Milliman's CMH Health Practice is looking for a Power BI Analyst to join their vibrant, dynamic, and growing practice. Power BI Analysts will have the opportunity to work in an emerging area that supports a wide variety of markets within the healthcare industry, while working alongside some of the leading experts in the field. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Visualization or related fields.
  • 2 to 4 years of related work experience.
  • Proven experience with Power BI and other BI technologies.
  • Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and Power Query is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Adept at queries, presenting findings in interesting and convincing visuals.
  • Knowledge of healthcare analytics platforms, and processing environments including Graphical User Interfaces, Batch, and APIs.
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, and other programming languages a plus.
  • Proven expertise using Microsoft office applications, Excel and pivot tables.
  • Experience using Power Query and writing DAX.
  • Familiarity with dimensional data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, lake house architecture, ETL processes and capacity management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
  • Perform data analysis, and data validation.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all Milliman required Quality Risk Management requirements.
