About The Position

City of Phoenix - IT - Remedy Force Developer - Power App Developer - 153088 (Hybrid) Closing Date: 1/12/2025 @ 2 PM Hybrid: 80% in-office 20% remote. The City of Phoenix Water Services Department Technology Services Division is seeking a Power Apps Developer to help deliver innovative solutions that improve operations and services. Requirements

Power Platform Expertise: Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
Data Modeling & Integration: Strong skills in SQL, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
Data Visualization: Ability to design apps that effectively present and manipulate data.
Microsoft Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
Problem-Solving & Communication: Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Agile Development: Experience with iterative development methodologies.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in Power Apps development, integration, and automation.

Nice To Haves

Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

App Development: Build and customize applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
Data-Driven Solutions: Design apps leveraging Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, relational databases, and external data sources.
Workflow Automation: Create automated processes using Power Automate.
UI/UX Design: Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile.
Maintenance & Support: Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and update solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance app performance.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards.
