About The Position
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to test and modify general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. The role involves interpreting wireless specifications, designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures, and documenting systems-level defects using a bug tracking system. The engineer will identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and document problems with program function, output, or content, and develop testing programs that assess the effectiveness of new systems or modifications of existing systems. The position requires collaboration with other test engineers and product engineers, utilizing power measurement equipment to collect measurements for system use cases on test platforms, and executing functional tests for power/thermal software. The engineer will also be responsible for thermal and power testing of 4G/5G modem use cases and validating thermal mitigation algorithms.
