Powder Coater Technician

Job Details Job Location: Corporate Office - Kings Mountain, NC Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Shift: First Job Category: Manufacturing Description ~ Benefits eligible at 60 days ~ Weekly Attendance Bonus ~ Responsible for ensuring parts are painted properly according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards. Manage Technical aspects of Pretreatment and powder coating on a variety of parts as needed. Manage personnel for efficient production that maximizes line capacity Perform required quality checks including 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections. Manage prepping of parts as needed Ensure Department housekeeping Technical Powder Coating Troubleshooting as needed. Follow all safety policies and procedures Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications + Requirements: 2+ years of powder coating experience 2+ years of experience with painting on a conveyor system line 2+ years of experience with paint involving wash stages Experience with managing inventory of raw materials Mechanically inclined. Work well with others and can manage Line operators Attention to detail, multi-tasking and effective time management Ability to stand, bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate, Technical certifications preferred or 4+ years powder coating experience. Excellent communication skills required both written and verbally.
