About The Position

The Powder Coat/Dip line employee builds healthy communities through play and recreation by ensuring parts are safely processed through the operation to produce a high-quality finished product. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Perform production duties to produce parts according to order specifications. Move product and inventory using a forklift and bin system. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Execute and document quality inspections. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate prior coating process. Perform related duties as required by supervision. Satisfy the required hours of the department. Follow all safety procedures and protocols. Set an example for team members of commitment, application of skill, work ethics & habits, and personal character. Ability to successfully perform hanging, grinding, and tear off functions of the coating line.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is desired.
  • Experience in coating is desired
  • Requires the ability to operate various hand and power tools.
  • Requires the ability to pass forklift operator course and drive a forklift.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
  • Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools
  • Ability to pass forklift operator course and drive a forklift
