About The Position
The duties for the position will include but not limited to the following. Clean, sand, mask and apply powder coat to parts, including hanging/unhanging parts on conveyers. Setup, operate and troubleshoot powder spray guns and paint systems. Ensure finished parts meet quality standards. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including wearing a respirator, lifting to 50lbs consistently, bending/standing for long periods.
Requirements
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to use quality inspection equipment
- Proficient and basic math and computer skills
- Ability to use motorized walking stacker
Responsibilities
- Clean, sand, mask and apply powder coat to parts, including hanging/unhanging parts on conveyers
- Setup, operate and troubleshoot powder spray guns and paint systems
- Ensure finished parts meet quality standards
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including wearing a respirator, lifting to 50lbs consistently, bending/standing for long periods
- Follow safety and environmental procedures
- Come to work everyday On time as scheduled
- Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts
- Compare parts to blueprint to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality
- Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
- Load and unload parts into press and activate oil parts as necessary
- Examine parts during production process
- Execute scheduling board
