Full Job Description: Prepare, clean, mask, and hang parts for the powder coating process Perform general physical activities that require lifting, swooping, stacking, and organizing parts, packaging, and handling parts. Operate powder coating spray equipment according to SOPs Apply coatings with a consistent technique and thickness Monitor curing ovens, line speed, and workflow Perform in-process and final quality inspections to identify the cause of errors or defects, to sort defective parts, or to count parts. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow safety guidelines and handle equipment responsibly Communicate effectively with the team to support smooth production flow

Requirements

  • Reliable, accountable, and disciplined while staying on task
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized processes
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for most of the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and steady, methodical work style
  • Must be adaptable and with a positive attitude to help other team members
  • Must be willing and able to perform any job assignment as production levels shift and job priorities change

  • 1-2 years of production experience with a metal manufacturer
  • Ability to read and interpret gauges such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, etc
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
