About The Position
Perform the daily set up and operation of the powder coat machine, and oven. Applies powder coat or wet paint per standard work. Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 (plus $1.00 shift differential)
Responsibilities
- Washes and dries rack to prepare for powder coat/wet paint
- Inspect finishes of workpieces or finished products to ensure conformance to quality standards.
- Clean and maintain powder coat equipment.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
- Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
- Contribute to a team effort.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Ensure coated racks receive identifier upon completion
- Performs basic preventive maintenance
- Other duties as assigned.
