About The Position

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and attributes: High School diploma or equivalent Applicant must have a valid Drivers LicenseExperience in vaccinations and pullet movesMust be a good organizer with the ability to work and communicate well with othersPhysical type work is a demandMust be able to prepare work schedules and able to adjust to sudden changes in organizing work loads.Capable of working flexible hoursDelegate will have a background check performed as stated in the Aviagen Employee Handbook Job Duties: The following duties will vary according to the needs of the Department. Primary responsibilities include: Must be able to work flexible hours and be on call 24 hours/7 days a week.Must be able to ensure that all vaccination and move procedures are performed correctly by crew.Able to manage a crew with high efficiency and high quality standards.Must properly handle vaccine in transport as well as in the chicken houses.Ensuring the biosecurity of farms, equipment, area buildings, vehicles, etc. is a major duty.Must be able to complete schedules and service reports.Must be able to repair vaccination equipment, injection guns, water-vac pumps, etc.Must be able to do blood monitoring and rodent inspections involving baiting and checking traps.Health & Safety of employees is a major part of job duties.
