Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview. This position is responsible for vaccination, movement of all Cobb products serviced by the Cobb Grandparent operation. The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. Appropriate clothing and footwear are provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines. Will be trained to recognize and comply with all Safety procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies. Failure to perform this job to above above standards could lead to progressive discipline up to and including termination. Applicants must reside within the United States to be considered for an in–person interview. Qualified applicants must have at least 12 months consecutive work experience with one employer over the past three years with no gaps in employment of over six months. (Exceptions are made for layoffs, attending school, birth of a child, or elder care.) Work history will not apply to applicants when they have been FULL TIME STUDENTS consecutively for the last 36 months.

Requirements

Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months. If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.
Must have good communication skills to accurately convey opinions and concerns.
Must use safe lifting techniques.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and may be required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds at times.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear; and drive a vehicle to and from the job sites.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.
Safety goggles, face shield, chemical gloves, waterproof apron, and rubber boots are required when handling chemicals; ear plugs and ear muffs will be used as needed.
Required to work on wet, slippery surfaces and also in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.

Vaccinate GP chickens. (50%)

Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice, such as operating a high pressure and regular water hose, maintains foot pans and hand sanitizers, clean and disinfect Cobb vehicles, maintain a clean and organized work area. (5%)
