Pouch Machine Operator 2nd Shift
About The Position
Our client in Bridgewater, MA is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for 3rd Shift! Job Summary: Training for Pouch Machine Operator will be expected to train on 1st shift, show up on time, willing to learn and take instructions from leads. You will be expected to give direction and monitor pouch making operators. You will need to make adjustments to your machine to ensure product quality. You will need to perform all quality testing for the pouch making process, comply with the manufacturing schedule while maintaining a safe and orderly workplace. You will need to effectively communicate with your team as well as the other shifts. MUST have relative experience to be considered. - Previous experience running and setting production machinery
Responsibilities
- Operate pouch making machine
- Assists Sr. Leads with all set up activities
- Perform minor adjustments to machinery to insure product quality
- Work closely with Pouch Making Testers to insure product quality
- Participates in various continuous improvement activities
- Assists on product changeovers and cover for breaks and lunches as needed
- Be part of corrective action teams as needed
- Report any potential food safety, legality, quality, or food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality personnel
- Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices
