About The Position
Reporting to the Security Supervisor, and collaborating with other Security Staff, the Security Officer supports the health system's efforts to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, students, and visitors. The officer assists all individuals in understanding and conveniently utilizing Hospital facilities. The officer provides a first response to emergency situations, and coordinates with external emergency management, law enforcement and fire agencies. This is a part-time position with alternating day/evening hours, specifically from 7am-3:30pm and 3:00pm-11:30pm. The candidate should have flexibility to cover night shifts when needed, with hours from 11pm-7:30am. Weekend and holiday rotation would be required. This position is located at Pottstown Hospital.
