About The Position

Cast pottery ware in plaster molds by filling molds with slip from supply tanks. Pour excess slip from molds once clay shell has reached specified thickness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to use hand tools applicable to trade.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• De-mold by pouring excess slip from molds once clay shell has reached specified thickness.
• Pouring molds.
• Set up and tear down of molds.
• Pump slip to fill tanks.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion.
