About The Position

CrossLife Technologies is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Scientist in Bioengineering to lead the development of innovative point-of-care diagnostic devices. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to translate research into impactful diagnostic technologies, enhancing patient care through advanced health diagnostics.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in bioengineering, with specific experience in diagnostic device development preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with point-of-care diagnostic technologies is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and technical writing.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and innovative approach to research.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with microfluidics and biosensor development.
• Knowledge of biomaterials handling and assay development techniques.
• Familiarity with fabrication techniques such as photolithography and soft lithography.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and development efforts to create innovative point-of-care diagnostic devices.
• Design and conduct experiments to validate the functionality and reliability of diagnostic technologies.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, biologists, and clinicians.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and refine device designs based on findings.
• Prepare research reports, scientific publications, and presentations to communicate progress and outcomes.
• Contribute to grant writing and project proposals to support ongoing and future research initiatives.
