Postdoctoral Scholar - Arcan Lab
About The Position
The Arcan Lab at the Department of Nutritional Sciences is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to pursue research focusing on public health nutrition, including exploring the relationship between lifestyle factors, including dietary patterns (e.g. Mediterranean diet) and environmental factors on systemic inflammation and chronic disease risk. The candidate will be responsible for obtaining pilot data, analyzing secondary data, writing grant proposals and publications, developing protocols for IRB submission, and assisting in nutrition interventions, especially among special populations.
Requirements
- PhD with a focus either on nutrition and/or public health nutrition
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills
- Desire to learn
Nice To Haves
- Certification of Registered Dietitian
- Experience in designing and conducting nutrition interventions
