About The Position
A Postdoctoral Scholar position is available at The Pennsylvania State University in the lab of Dr. David Toews. Our lab studies the evolutionary biology, genomics, and molecular ecology of birds using a range of bioinformatic tools. The postdoc will contribute to ongoing projects involving comparative genomics, phylogenomics, and/or the genetic basis of trait variation in avian systems.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in biology, evolutionary biology, bioinformatics, genomics, or a related field.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with R and/or experience using a computing cluster environment is preferred.
