The Department of Mathematics in Penn State's Eberly College of Science is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will work with Professor John Harlim and his collaborators, Yan Li in the Electrical Engineering department, and Daning Huang in the Aerospace Engineering department in the area of Scientific Machine Learning. The project is to develop computationally efficient reduced-order dynamical systems on graph with modern power grid systems as an application.

  • Conduct research in the area of Scientific Machine Learning.

  • Collaborate with faculty from Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering.
