About The Position
A position is available for postdoctoral research in the Kolonin laboratory at UTHealth Houston, focusing on cell rejuvenation in aging and targeted peptide cancer therapeutics. The role offers two project options: one involves using cell and mouse models of senescence to identify molecules that induce telomerase and suppress aging, with a preference for candidates experienced in genomics and bioinformatics, particularly scRNAseq analysis using R. The second project focuses on developing new targeted peptide cancer therapeutics, where experience in click chemistry and physical chemistry is advantageous.
