Responsibilities: Using discretion and independent judgment, design and conduct greenhouse, lab and field research pertaining to integrated weed management in various cropping systems. Independently prepare research publications and reports. Assist and mentor research graduate students and other personnel. Contribute to bringing in extramural support. Participate in professional activities. Supervise part-time student labor to accomplish the research project. Assist with and contribute to various program managerial activities. Perform other job related duties as required. Required Education: PhD in relevant field (weed science, agronomy, ecology, plant science, etc.) Continued employment in this position is contingent upon availability of funds.
