About The Position

The Plant Genomics group at Texas A&M AgriLife Research in Dallas is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to lead cutting-edge research in plant genomics, pangenomics, and genome-enabled crop improvement. The successful candidate will work on chromosome-scale genome assembly, gene annotation, structural variation discovery and development of genomics tools to accelerate breeding across multiple crop species. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact research, publish in leading journals, and collaborate with a diverse network of plant breeders, geneticists, computational biologists, and industry partners. The postdoc will also have opportunities for professional development, grant writing, and mentorship experience to support an independent career path. All positions are security-sensitive.
