About The Position

Job Responsibilities: -Develop method for target and non-target analysis of emerging contaminants in different matrixes. -Adapt advanced materials and technologies for emerging contaminants removal. -Evaluate and assess risk of reclaimed soil and water for regeneration. -Integrate mass spectrometry, genomics, plant pathology to mechanistically understand the emerging contaminants and soil and crop interaction. -Conduct lab experiment, analyze data, writing research papers, and presenting results at professional meetings. -Assist with the preparation and cleaning of worksite. -Other duties as required. Required Education: -Ph.D. degree in chemistry, environmental science, environmental engineering and other relevant areas. Preferred Experience: -Hands-on experience of non-target analysis with high resolution mass. Required skills, knowledge or abilities: -Good communication and computer skills -Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others Preferred skills, knowledge or abilities: -Passion for interdisciplinary research and new discoveries. -Responsible for high quality delivery.
