About The Position

The post-doctoral research associate will work on an NIH funded project that aims to develop technologies that will address common challenges relating to developing and breeding mouse models. The candidate will take advantage of the breakthrough technological contributions developed at UNMC’s mouse genome engineering core facility. The candidate will work on testing and validating several ideas for inserting multi-Kb DNA molecules into the mouse genome precisely and efficiently. The candidate is expected to be creative and innovative in developing newer ideas related to the projects.

Requirements

• Ph.D.
• The candidate should have experience in two or more of the following areas: animal models, gene-editing/molecular-biology and gene therapy or gene delivery technologies.
