The Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture (IHA) at Texas A&M University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Precision Nutrition, with a strong focus on metabolism–immunity interactions. Research Focus Precision nutrition research at the IHA is dedicated to understanding the mechanisms linking diet to health outcomes by integrating genetic, physiological, environmental, and behavioral factors that influence individual variability and population subgroups. The ultimate goal is to develop personalized, evidence-based nutrition strategies to reduce the risk of diet-related chronic diseases. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct research on cutting-edge preclinical models to address human-relevant mechanistic questions, with a particular focus on the intersection of metabolic regulation, immunometabolism and inflammation, nutrient sensing and signaling pathways, and chronic diseases including obesity, diabetes, liver disease, and aging-related disorders.
