About The Position

2026-2027 Postdoctoral Fellowships in Autism Spectrum Disorder (1-2 years). The selected candidates will engage in a combination of clinical and research activities. Clinical opportunities include diagnostic evaluations, individual therapy sessions, and group treatment activities for autistic individuals across the lifespan working within TEACCH outpatient clinics. Intervention experiences include early intervention services, school-based social groups, parent coaching, adult dialectical behavior therapy groups, and adult residential care. Research opportunities include examining the efficacy of TEACCH clinical (e.g., early intervention, transition to adulthood, suicide prevention, aging) and training (e.g., professional development) programs working with Drs. Christina Corsello, Laura Klinger, Brianne Tomaszewski and/or Hannah Morton. TEACCH research infrastructure includes a database of more than 14,000 individuals diagnosed by TEACCH . The blend of clinical, teaching, and research activities will depend on the successful candidate’s expertise and career interests.

Requirements

  • previous training in clinical and/or research activities focused on autism
  • Qualified applicants will have a strong background in Clinical or School Psychology and will have completed their doctoral training and internship at APA -accredited programs by the start of the fellowship year
