About The Position
The Joan and James Leitzel Center for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Education seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to assist with grant-sponsored activities including data analysis, project development, reporting and manuscript generation.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree, with at least 3 years of experience during degree program with modeling, data analysis, instrumentation and technical writing.
- The successful candidate will be experienced with geochemical instrumentation, modeling geochemical and Earth System processes, data analysis and preparation of materials for reporting and publication.
- The successful candidate will also have the ability to work across multiple projects, often with competing deadlines, and collaborate with team to complete tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Ph.D. required and 5+ years experience with modeling, geochemical measurements and manuscript preparation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out grant-sponsored activities including data analysis, reporting and manuscript generation
- Support research operations with geochemical analyses and instrumentation, data analysis, manuscript preparation and submission.
