About The Position

The Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Oak Ridge National Laboratory focuses on the development and application of advanced electronic structure methods, particularly density functional theory (DFT) and correlated electronic structure methods, to study strongly correlated topological quantum materials. The role involves bridging atomistic simulation methods with nanoscale experiments and integrating AI/ML algorithms to enhance research outcomes. The position is part of the Nanomaterials Theory Institute and contributes to the Heterogeneities in Quantum Materials theme at the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences.
