The Environmental Remote Sensing Laboratory in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at Alabama A&M University is seeking a postdoctoral research associate with expertise in remote sensing to support a newly funded project. The project will use a combination of remotely sensed data and products, geospatial mapping, and modeling tools for understanding urban climate change and impacts. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists of AAMU and the two collaborating national laboratories: Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and will be expected to lead and contribute to develop scientific products (peer reviewed publications and conference presentations).
