About The Position
The Department of Pharmacology, at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work in the laboratory of Dr. Kelsey Voss. The lab focuses on iron metabolism in immune cells and applies these concepts to autoimmune diseases, inflammation, and cancer. The focus of this lab position is to lead a research project centered on type 1 diabetes (T1D) with a focus on ferroptosis and iron metabolism. Additional projects may include analyses of patient samples and tissues with autoimmune diseases.
