A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the Gibson lab. The Gibson Lab in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate how biomolecular phase transitions guide higher-order genome structure and influence disease. We combine biochemistry, genomics, cellular engineering, and advanced microscopy to build and perturb chromatin condensates in vitro and in cells, with the goal of revealing mechanisms that control genome organization and gene regulation. We are seeking an organized and creative experimentalist with a track record of success and a thoughtful and collaborative mindset to drive high-impact projects at the interface of chromatin biology, condensate biophysics, and genome regulation.
